    2023 Swearing In Ceremony

May 1, 2023 starts Alderman Little's 6th term as Alderman here in Loves Park. Alderman Little's committee assignments:

    •  PUBLIC SAFETY (POLICE, FIRE, PUBLIC SAFETY AND HEALTH)

    • CODES AND REGULATIONS (ORDINANCES, LICENSES)

    Serving The Community

As Alderman, Clint served Loves Park with distinction and integrity. Residents counted on him to be proactive in solving issues and working to improve Loves Park. Alderman Little served as Chairman of the Public Safety Committee, Vice Chairman of Codes and Regulations and was a member of the Community Development Committee. He also served on the Council of 100 committee and was the City of Loves Park's liaison to the Rockford Area Visitor and Convention Bureau Board. He has donated many hours to various boards and organizations to promote our region. He has served three years as District Chair for the Boy Scouts, eight years as A Board of Trustee (Vice President and Treasurer) for Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens. Other charitable organizations include: Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Carpenter's Place, K.N.I.B. and many others...

    Goals for the future!

We need to set realistic goals to revitalize our community,

    • Our first goal needs to be addressing our infrastructure needs in our neighborhoods. Quality road construction and drainage planning needs to be done in areas that have been neglected. Over the years Clint has fought for money to fix roads and drainage in the First Ward. Clint worked with ComEd representatives to improve electrical grids for neighborhoods who continuously lost power. Thousands of linear feet of cables and new transformers updated the grid providing reliable service for our residents. Clint even worked with our State Representative to resurface Harlem Road which is a State road.
    • Increasing police presence in neighborhoods is a must! There have been many home burglaries in Loves Park this past year and one way to prevent these types of crime is active patrols. Alderman Little has always supported increasing resources to reduce and prevent crime from entering in our City. The department is currently understaffed, and Clint supports having our department out in the neighborhoods deterring criminals from targeting our homes.
    • Having a representative who is available, knowledgeable, works for those he represents and has a record fighting to improve government for those it serves. Clint is that representative! Clint has worked on the behalf of residents and businesses to ensure they have a voice and are treated fairly. Clint is very responsive to concerns and proactively works to solve problems. Many of you have had to deal with the City contacting Clint to facilitate one issue or another and Clint has helped get your issue resolved. Whether you have needed Clint or not he has been and will continue to work for you to better conditions here in Loves Park.

Thank you to all of you for your support this past election. I want to especially thank those of you who allowed me to place a yard sign. As promised, I placed them, maintained them and had all removed election night.
